PRR 7283, N-2SA, 1939         
Here is a photo by William E. Grant that was taken in Wilmington, Delaware, on 26 May 1939. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7283, an N-2SA (2-10-2) "Santa Fe" built by the American Locomotive Company as an N-2 during April of 1919, later rebuilt in Juniata as an N-2SA, and retired in August of 1948 after 29 years of faithful service. Caption On Reverse: "One of the engines being tested at Brenford, Delaware." Gary Mittner Collection.
